8.29.22 | Found some LOVE this morning on my walk. The more time I spend here in the Wild, the more and more I love it. I just can’t explain my love for this land. It is beautiful! 🥰
The majority of today’s work was hauling the dirt in to the site for the shop pad. It was a productive day….but, not a lot of drastic changes took place.
First layer of the 5-6′ dirt pad is down!
After the crew left, I was walking around and started rock hunting. I found some pyrite (fool’s gold) and some Tektite. The Tektite is an interesting find because that means that there was probably a meteorite that hit nearby at some point. It would be so cool to find pieces of a meteorite!!! …so, I will keep looking.
