When we bought this amazing property, we knew the build was going to be difficult. How difficult? Well, we had one hired hand quit on us. Then others said that it would be almost impossible to get concrete trucks up the mountain. But then we finally found someone that took up the challenge and made it happen.
A good foundation is the start of a beautiful thing. Could the concrete trucks get up the mountain? Yes…but not without being pulled up with a dozer and they could only be filled to half capacity because of the incline. We certainly didn’t want concrete spilling out of the back of the trucks as they made the climb up.
I am happy to say that we now have a completed foundation. Where there is a will there is a way!
