Wild Mountain

– A Blessed Land –

Sometime this past winter, we were walking the land and a very special discovery was made. My sister-in-love, Stacy, noticed this rock. It actually had a cross carved in its beautiful sandstone. We all gathered around this rock and spoke of how it was a sign from God that we are home….that this land is blessed and we are supposed to be here.

As some of you know, just before, we built a massive European style villa in a sought after part of McKinney. We shocked many when we put it up for sale only a year after the build was completed. Quite frankly, there was just something still missing.

The second that we stepped foot on this land, Garnett and I both knew that THIS is what was missing. A place out of the city. A place that we aren’t told what we can and can’t do. A place where we won’t get a ticket for going just a few days too long mowing our yard. A place where I can be creative in my own outdoor space without judgement. A place where we can take outdoor showers in the birthday suit God gave us. And it goes on and on… The freedom is worth more than any million dollar home with so many rules attached.

Today, I asked for this special rock to be unearthed. I don’t know where it will end up just yet…but I do know that wherever it lands, it will forever be a place to gather around the blessed rock!

Love & Blessings to You, Tam
